Barmy Amry legend 'Jimmy Saville' in full flow at the England - Australia womens hockey game in Perth. Jimmy is a legend - as we often sang, leading numerous chants, and generally livening up the proceedings. Jimmy can easily be spotted in the crowd shots on Sky, wearing his Top hat, and waving his St Georges cross. |

Skippy is a Pommie at the England vs. Australia womens hockey match. As the hockey world cup was taking place at the same time as the Perth test, myself and Wacker decided to tag along - as well as 500 or so England fans. I seriously doubt if hockey has ever had such an excellent and noisy atmosphere, with numerous somgs and chats being reeled off, and the bar ares being invaded by thirsty cricket fans. |
 |
More from the hockey... an excellent show of support that the England girls really appreciated, chats of 'Jayne Smith's Barmy Army' rang around the stadium. The night was made even better by the fact that Vaughan, Butcher, Key and Foster came along too. |
 |
Wacker and Rob, a top lad we met whilst in Perth. He and Wacker continued right through, onto the Melbourne and Sydney tests. |

Barnard poses with the legendary Jimmy Saville at the hockey in Perth. |

Barnard and Jim at the WACA ground in Perth just before the start of play. |
 |
...and now the one that everyone wanted to see:- Wacker at the WACA - a truly legendary photo! |

Beeden tucks into a Mrs. Mac's beef pie, for about the hundreth time in three weeks, granted, the pies were nice, but Beeden took things to extremes... in his time in Western Australia, the share price of Mrs Mac's more than quadrupled, such was his affect on sales. |
 |
Barnard, Beeden and Jim pose with Jimmy Saville (in civillian clothing), and Neil on the left of the photo. Neil was another top lad we met out in Perth, and joined us in drinking and singing. He has a bat signed by the Australian team, which he won in the raffle at the Perth Barmy Army bash, where this photo is taken. |

(From left to right) Jim, Cooper, Lance, Neil, Beeden and Barnard pose at the Perth Barmy Army bash, attended by Adam Hollioake, Must admit, Beeden looks a little the worse for wear in this photo, but he can't have been that bad, as he proceeded onto the casino, and won a shed load of cash with Neil on the poker tables. |
